Purchasing Agent

Join a leading-edge robotics company  assist with procurement and order fulfillment of robotic automation solutions. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services 
  • Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives 
  • Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices 
  • Sales operations support including coordinating lead times, reviewing sales contracts, processing sales orders, and setting up customer accounts 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum requirements: 
  • 5+ years experience in manufacturing and procurement  
  • Demonstrated experience with supply chain management for high-tech manufacturing 
  • Experience with accounting techniques, procedures and software tools 
  • 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience/education

Preference for: 

  • Experience in sales operations  
  • Experience with automation, robotics and sensors
