"These are the innovators setting the New Mexico economy ablaze.
Across the American Inno network of publications, the Fire Awards highlight innovative organizations that have had a year worth celebrating. Fire honorees can include later-stage tech pillars, growth-stage startups, accelerators, venture firms, meetup groups, nonprofits, etc.
From firms that have garnered investment, unveiled a new product, secured a big client, made a significant acquisition, expanded or pivoted — the Fire Awards are intended to recognize organizations that are having a positive impact on New Mexico's economy.
With those criteria in mind, Albuquerque Business First put out a call for nominations for potential award recipients. ABF then reviewed the applications and determined the inaugural Fire Awards honorees.
An event celebrating each of the five recipients will be held on May 4 at Explora.
As part of the ceremony, a Blazer Award will also be presented to one of the five honorees. This award will go to the organization that has had a truly standout year in helping to propel the Land of Enchantment and the innovative ecosystem forward."
