Build With Robots Introduces High-Tech Sanitization at the Dion’s Pizza Commissary

[Albuquerque, NM, March 2024] – Build With Robots has launched its first-ever partnership in the foodservice industry by deploying its Breezy aerosolized hydrogen peroxide (aHP) technology within the new Dion’s Commissary. This state-of-the art and ecofriendly sanitization solution adds an extra layer of protection in schools, healthcare facilities, residential cleaning, and more - Dion’s is the first restaurant and food manufacturing facility in the region to utilize this advanced technology to help ensure food safety. 

The Dion’s Commissary produces signature dressings, bakery items such as cookies and baguettes, and ingredients for pizza, salads, and subs. Items at the facility are prepared early each morning and are then transported to Dion’s restaurants. The adoption of the Breezy aHP system adds a complementary mode of pathogen reduction at the hub which is responsible for producing many of the items customers crave.

Aerosolized hydrogen peroxide rapidly breaks down into water and oxygen, which makes it safe for use in food processing environments and eliminates concerns about chemical contamination. The fog can effectively reach and thoroughly sanitize large and complex spaces.  Additionally, aHP is proven to be effective against a wide range of microorganisms and is non-toxic and residue-free. Because it’s remotely controlled, an area can be sanitized without exposing workers to the solution, or even requiring PPE. The Build With Robots system delivers, measures, and electronically records aHP dosages. A member of Dion’s team remotely activates and monitors the sanitization process, which eliminates hours of labor.
