Business Development Manager - Healthcare Automation

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Manager to drive sales of our infection prevention automation solutions into hospitals and healthcare facilities. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong understanding of infection control practices, hospital operations, and the growing demand for automated solutions to improve patient safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with hospitals, healthcare systems, and ambulatory surgery centers for infection prevention automation solutions.
  • Build and manage relationships with infection preventionists, hospital administrators, facility managers, epidemiologists, and supply chain leaders.
  • Educate and consult with healthcare decision-makers on automated disinfection technologies, infection control best practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations showcasing the benefits of automation in infection prevention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, and regulatory affairs) to refine value propositions and market positioning.
  • Stay up to date with CDC, OSHA, and Joint Commission guidelines related to infection prevention and hospital-acquired infection (HAI) reduction.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service plans while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and expand market presence.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Epidemiology, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management within the medical equipment, medical device, or infection prevention industry.
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols, hospital purchasing processes, and healthcare regulations.
